HOW I WORK

  • In this first step we will get to know each other, after an initial free, no obligation, phone call I will pull together a bespoke proposal for your project. Once the agreement is signed and the deposit is paid its time to dive deep and for me to truly understand your brand, your goals and your ideal customers. This can be done over email, the phone or a video call. If you are unsure on some of these details I can help with questions and prompts, so that we can both be clear on all the details about your brand and what makes it special.

  • I will take all of this information and create a moodboard, or series of moodboards, to showcase the look and feel of your brand. This is my first step to bring the values, key words, and emotions of your brand to life in a visual way. The look and feel moodboards can include existing colour and logos if you have them. They will also include imagery, patterns, typography, words, colours and logo inspiration. You will have an opportunity to review these and feed back. I want to know what you love and what you're unsure of before I start designing.

  • And now on to the designing. If I’m designing your branding I will expand on the look and feel moodboard and find your perfect brand elements. I will check all colours and fonts for accessibility to ensure all customers can make the most of your visuals and website. I will pull together a brand guideline document, including a quick one page overview. If I’m designing your website I will select the perfect template and get to work customising it with your copy and imagery to build each page to perfection, keeping your client and their needs at the forefront at all times. There will be a round of revisions at this stage, depending on budget and called out in the proposal. 

  • The last and final step is the delivery. This may look like a completed branding guideline with all of your logo files and imagery transferred to you to begin using. It may look like a perfect website that represents your brand online and works seamlessly on every screen size. If I have produced a website for you this step is likely to include online training to enable you to make the most of your new site and build on it as your business grows.
